Oh..and a Josh update.
Ran into him this weekend after not getting a response to my messages and he acted like an arrogate ass. I can understand I guess..he did just drunkenly make a pass at me then proceed to cry all over me as well. He probably feels embarrassed and feels the need to macho it up.
Oh well..I will give him space and see if our friendship can withstand this.
I've read your last few posts, and here's how it seems to me.

I haven't read enough to know what your moral and religious values are, but if your screen name is significant, it suggests something.
From the point of view of my beliefs I'll suggest that you accept fully the fact that you are attracted to men. Then accept the fact that you are not compelled to act on those attractions, any more than a straight guy who finds women other than his wife attractive is compelled to act on those attractions. Your fulfillment as a man comes, among other things, from being true to your word.
Hopefully you can get to a point where you can acknowledge your inclinations without giving them power over you.

ReplyDeleteI have never cheated on my wife until recently. I'm not proud of it..but it happened and now I am dealing with it. I have always had strong willpower and a good moral compass..but my life has gone completly out of wack lately. I'm just trying to understand myself and where I go from here.
oh..and I was raised catholic..but I don't identify with any faith currently.
